Two tiers of natural wood, suspended on ivory cotton cord, with a geometric diamond panel at the centre and cascading fringe below — this macrame wall shelf is the rare piece that looks as considered empty as it does styled.
✦ Design & Style
The central knotwork panel features a classic diamond and geometric pattern that gives the shelf its identity as wall art first, storage second. The fringe below the lower board moves softly with air and light, adding texture and depth to any wall. Natural cotton in warm ivory-white pairs effortlessly with wood, linen, rattan, terracotta ceramics, and pampas grass — making this piece at home in boho, farmhouse, cottagecore, Scandinavian minimalist, and Japandi interiors alike. It brings the same unhurried, tactile quality to a bedroom wall as it does to an entryway or bathroom corner.
✦ What It Holds
Each of the two wooden shelf boards measures approximately 32 cm wide × 15 cm deep — enough surface for two or three small objects per tier. The floating shelf structure works beautifully as a hanging plant shelf for trailing pothos, small succulents, or air plants. It's equally suited to candles, crystals, ceramics, small framed photos, or folded books. The two-tier format lets you layer objects at different heights, creating a little curated vignette on the wall rather than a flat surface.
✦ Dimensions
- Overall size: 32 × 70 cm / 12.6" × 27.6"
- Each shelf board: approx. 32 cm wide × 15 cm deep / 12.6" × 6"
- Hanging cord: pre-attached, length included in overall measurement
✦ Where to Use It
Designed as a bedroom shelf decor focal point — above a dresser, desk, or headboard — but equally at home in a living room, entryway, hallway, or nursery. The neutral palette means it integrates into almost any existing interior without requiring rearrangement around it. A thoughtful housewarming gift for anyone drawn to tactile, natural home accessories — or a birthday gift for the friend whose walls always look intentional.
✦ Material
Made from 100% natural cotton cord and solid natural wood shelf boards. The ivory-white cotton is warm and neutral. The wooden dowel at the top and the two shelf boards are made from smooth natural wood with a clean finish that lets the knotwork remain the visual focus. Hanging cord is pre-attached; one wall hook required (not included).
